Joan Smith & the Jane Does are a Canadian fuzz-filled, femme-rock dance machine with cutting vocals that amp up to the edge of sanity, pulsing rock beats and relentless guitars which remind noted radio personality and music historian Jeff Woods of ‘Queens of the Stone Age with Stevie Nicks vocals’.

 Their full length album “Do Me Some Harm” has received national radio play and international playlisting, and their cover of the Pointer Sisters’ ‘Neutron Dance’ was recently released on Canadian punk label Cartridge Heart’s ‘Go Kick-Ass:2’ compilation. Joan Smith & the Jane Does continue to carve their own path in the global rock scene as they have been touring extensively in the U.S. until recently, and embarked on their first U.K. tour in the fall of 2025, including a support slot at Sonic Boom Festival alongside The Bug Club and CLT DRP. They’re currently working on their next full length album.
